Self-esteem, self-love, self-confidence are all things that can play a huge part, and have a big impact on our wider general health. We can be eating the best nutrition and focusing on our exercise regime, but if we are constantly feeding ourselves toxic and negative self-talk this can have a very detrimental impact on our health.
It’s sadly, an area that is often overlooked in a person’s healing journey, but one that needs to be addressed. The body works as a whole, not in divided pieces. The mind-body connection is real and a very powerful component, with emotional healing being a massive piece of the puzzle. To achieve good, strong health it is a necessary piece to focus on.
We can learn to grow in this area with things like talking therapy, breathing practices, and self-compassion – which can all be explored in more depth. Over the next few blog posts, I’m going to unpack this subject in a bit more detail with some hints and tips on how to improve, how to help general self-esteem, and how to also positively impact our physical health.
